On any given day you will see Barrydale's beloved botanist walking along the road to go and explore some veld for indigenous wildflowers. She knows the surrounding mountains of Barrydale on the palm of her hand. Her magical veld walk will sure enchant you. 

About

Local botanist Flora Cameron has been pursuing her lifelong passion for flowers and plants of the Overberg, with Barrydale and its environs the past 15 years. She is a member of CREW (Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers) and has led many guided walks through the fynbos participating in citizen science's contribution to recording the plants of the Cape Floristic region via Inat.
