Nicole studied and taught antique furniture restoration, slowly migrated into making bespoke furniture. And the most beautiful hand-made wooden knives. After almost 30 years in Cape Town she moved to Barrydale five years ago where she continues her work. (Nicole and the exchange student are still besties.)
